課程大綱

本課程旨在培養學生在商務情境中以英語參與會議與進行簡報的基礎能力。課程內容涵蓋會議常用語、簡報組織、意見表達、回應與提問等實用溝通技巧，幫助學生熟悉職場常見的英語溝通情境。透過情境對話、角色扮演、小組任務與簡短商務簡報等活動，學生將提升英語口語表達、自信與互動能力，並建立在商務會議與簡報場合中進行基本溝通的能力。 This intermediate ESP (English for specific purposes) course aims to develop their basic ability to participate in business meetings and give presentations in English. The course covers useful language and communication skills for workplace contexts, including meeting expressions, presentation organization, expressing opinions, responding to others, and asking questions. Through situational dialogues, role-plays, group tasks, and short business presentations, students will build confidence and improve their spoken English for effective communication in business meeting and presentation settings.

評量方式

* 選修本課程，請務必準時到班上課；第一堂課請勿缺席，若無法到課請事先請假。 (1) Class Performance (CP), including: - Final Presentation: 30% - Speaking (Mini Presentation): 10% - Guided Writing: 10% - Classroom Activity: 10% - Project (Weeks 17-18): 20% - Attendance: 20% (-5% for each absence) * Any student who accumulates FIVE unexcused absences in the semester class will receive a no-credit status. 無故缺席5次，即無法獲得本課程學分。 (2) School-wide English Proficiency Exam (EPE) ---- Overall score = [80% x CP] + [20% x EPE]
