課程大綱

This course develops students’ human-centered GenAI literacy through authentic translation projects on the Global Voices Lingua platform. Students use Custom GPTs and Dify as complementary tools for responsible AI-assisted translation rather than as automatic translation engines. Custom GPTs support translation reasoning by helping students ask questions, identify problems, compare wording options, and reflect on decisions. Dify supports workflow awareness by helping students organize the translation process, follow review checkpoints, record AI support, and document human decisions. Across three project cycles—political and social affairs, science and the environment, and culture and diverse voices—students use and gradually adapt instructor-designed Custom GPTs and a reusable Dify workflow template. By the end of the course, students will be able to use AI tools critically, adapt human-AI translation workflows, and maintain responsibility for final translation decisions.
