本課程涵蓋的範圍包括基礎的雷射加工物理、雷射光束的傳播、高斯雷射光束、脈衝雷射特性、雷射冷、熱加工分析等等。內容包含：1. 基本雷射物理 2.雷射加工基本原理 3.各種雷射介紹 4.雷射加工動態特性 5. 雷射加工的應用

課程進度

The lectures will cover the fundamental aspects of laser physics and engineering of lasers of all kinds, including 1. Basic optics 1. Ray tracing 2. Gaussian beams 3. Laser principles 4. Optical cavities design and analysis 5. Specific types of lasers 6. Laser dynamics 7. Laser applications 備註 第17、18週為彈性學習方式，主要是讓同學可以利用這兩週時間好好整理書面報告內容，分數佔整門課20%。在第18週課程結束前須email給授課老師 書面報告檔案(限20頁內)。

評量方式

作業 30% (約有4~5次作業) 出席 10% （不定時點名） 期中測驗 30% 期末報告 30 % (20% 書面, 10% 上台)
