課程大綱

This course aims to develop students’ fundamental knowledge and analytical skills in foundation engineering. The course covers geotechnical site investigation, bearing capacity of shallow foundations, lateral earth pressure theories, stability analysis and design of retaining walls, analysis and design of pile foundations, and deep excavation. Through this course, students will establish the core concepts required for foundation engineering design and practical applications. 本課程為大地工程領域之大學部必修課程，旨在培養學生對基礎工程之基本知識與分析能力。課程內容涵蓋地工調查、淺基礎承載力分析、側向土壓力理論、擋土牆穩定分析與設計、樁基礎分析與設計，以及深開挖工程等主題。透過本課程，學生將建立基礎工程設計與實務應用所需之核心概念。

Additional learning activities may be arranged based on the actual course progress and instructional needs.

Attendance: 20% Assignment: 20% Midterm Exam: 30% Final Exam: 30% *The grading percentages may be slightly adjusted based on the actual course implementation.
